As Many As 42 May Have Been On Board Grounded Boat

Coast Guard rescue crews are looking for as many as 18 other people who may have been aboard an old rusty boat that went aground this morning near Miami Beach. Three people were killed. Searchers have found 24 people, in all. At least some of those on the boat were migrants from Brazil or the Dominican Republic.Authorities aren't sure if any of the others made it safely to shore. It's not clear how the boat got into trouble. Besides the three who died, three others are hospitalized. Fourteen are in custody on a Coast Guard cutter. Another four were found on a beach.
