Hundreds Hit By Bug On Cruise Ship

Up to 230 cruise ship passengers in Africa have been taken ill after contracting a highly contagious sickness and vomiting bug. Passengers were struck down by the norovirus bug while on a trip around the Canary Islands and North Africa onboard the Fred Olsen liner, the Balmoral.A spokeswoman for Fred Olsen said that not all those who became ill did so at the same time and the virus was now "very much on the decrease".
