Container Ship Capsizes In Antwerp

A roll-on-roll-off container ship capsized during loading in the port of Antwerp, Belgian officials said. No injuries were reported. Port authority captain Jan Persi said that, for reasons still unknown, the 216-metre Republica slowly rolled onto its starboard side in a deadend dock. It was a very slow manoeuvre.” The vessel, which is 30 metres wide, lies on its side, part of its hull above the waterline in the dock.
