Vessel Capsizes In North Sea
Shetland Coastguard are co-ordinating a Search and Rescue (SAR) Operation 75 nautical miles North, West of Shetland where the anchor handling supply tug 'Bourbon Dolphin' has capsized. Shetland Coastguard scrambled the Coastguard Rescue helicopter 'Lima Charlie' to the scene and are in communication with the following three vessels which are also assisting in the SAR operation; 'Olympic Hercules', 'Viking Victory, and 'Highland Valour'. Bourbon Dolphin An additional civilian Rescue Helicopter is also on route to the scene, as is a dive support vessel, 'Subsea Viking'. The weather conditions on scene are good visibility with moderate seas. Neville Davis, Rescue Co-ordination Centre Manager, Shetland Coastguard said, "So far 10 persons have been recovered. We will continue working with the assets available to us to try and locate the missing crew"
