Cargo Ships Collide In Fog

Two cargo ships crashed in the middle of the Chao Phraya river on Saturday morning, as the capital was covered with thick fog. There were no reports of casualties, as crew jumped into the river and swam to shore after the crash. Two crew members sustained minor injuries. The fog caused some flights to change their landing destination to Don Mueang airport as the visibility was poor at Suvarnabhumi airport.Chao Phraya RiverMeanwhile, the Meteorological Department said thick fog would continue in the north, east and central regions in the next day or two.
