Ship Crashes Into South Boston Pier

A ship crashed at Conley Terminal in South Boston. The 598-foot oil tanker called the Baltic Commander One was switching berths when it lost propulsion and crashed into the pier, the Coast Guard reported.
There was no environmental damage or major damage to the vessel, though a portion of the pier was damaged.

No injuries were reported. Four tug boats moved the ship to the Black Falcon Terminal, its original destination.
